Ambience Healthcare on Tuesday announced $243 million in new funding, bringing its valuation to $1.25 billion.
The fundraise was led by Oak HC/FT and Andreessen Horowitz with participation from OpenAI, Kleiner Perkins, and Optum Ventures. Ambience has raised about $345 million to date.
The fundraise pushes 2025 announcements for funding for ambient artificial intelligence companies that automate clinical documentation, medical coding, and other administrative tasks to at least $975 million, according to a STAT analysis. Ambience competitor Abridge has announced $550 million on its own.
